Eric G's musical career, spanning over more than 20 years, covers stage performances and studio recordings within a wide variety of musical styles, ranging from Rock, Pop, R&B to Jazz and Latin.

Eric has studied with Joe Porcaro (Steely Dan, Bozz Scaggs), Ralph Humphrey (Frank Zappa, Chuck Mangione), Efrain Toro (Independent) and Tom Brechtlein (Chick Corea, Al di Meola, Robben Ford).  He commenced work as a session drummer and private instructor in and around Los Angeles in the early 90's.

This included live appearances with guitarist Scott Henderson (Chick Corea) and bassist Jeff Berlin (Bill Bruford).

Eric has recorded for TV-shows such as "Moon Over Miami" and "LA Heat", as well as for New Age Jazz artist Michael Whittaker’s album "Earth Tones", which was released on Brajo Records in 1997.

He also performed on and recorded for 10 episodes of the Fox TV-show "Melrose Place" in the final 1999 season and on 3 episodes of the WB network’s "Buffy The Vampire Slayer".

In 1998, Eric recorded and toured with guitarist Kenny Kidd, one of the few musicians in the world playing a 9-string guitar, a hybrid guitar/bass instrument.

The "Kenny Kidd Project" CD, entitled "Synergy", was released in 1999 on TriVenture Records.

In early 2000, Eric appeared at the NAMM Show in L.A., introducing the latest version of the drumKAT midi drum controller, the 4.5 Turbo 2000 model.

Motivated by the positive feedback he received while going on drum clinic tours through Europe, the United States & Australia, he commenced work on his own album, which will include tunes he composed for his clinic performances.

Between 2001 & 2005, Eric performed and recorded extensively in and around Melbourne, Australia, with his Latin/Funk fusion band "G-Force", as well as with various artists such as saxophonists Tim Wilson & Lachlan Davidson, who  have performed with artists Olivia Newton-John & John Farnham from "The Little River Band"

Eric is also involved in the development and promotion of the OZdrumpad, a new type of practice pad for drummers (check it out by clicking on the link at the very bottom).  Eric presented the OZdrumpad for the first time to the drumming community at "The Ultimate Drummer's Weekend and Expo" in Melbourne, Australia, on June 10, 2002.

Presently, Eric has returned to Los Angeles to work with artists such as Jazz vocalist Dwayne Stephenson.  They recently performed at the Globe Theater at Universal Studios, accompanied by pianist Alex Alessandroni (Natalie Cole).  Please check the gig calendar section for upcoming concerts (click the G-Force Band link at the bottom).

Further more, Eric has joined the teaching staff at the "School Of Rock" in Santa Monica, CA.

Eric is an endorser for Vater drum sticks, Agop Istanbul Cymbals and the drumKAT by Alternate Mode.
